Two in a half weeks until school starts.  The kids are keeping busy.  We recycle reels and the kids to a great job at disassembling them and loading them onto the trailer.  McCabe or Tim usually returns them.  It is a great way for them to earn money.  Sometimes neighbor kids join like Kade Mcpheters.  In this picture Kade, Edmund, and X joined us.

July 24th was pioneer day and flags were set in the neighborhood.  That is another little business our kids run.  The Pergler boys did a stellar job helping and as a thank you, they got donuts and soda.  Nothing better than a sugar rush in the morning.

     Our backyard is coming together.
We recently assembled a gazebo which looks amazing.  I am so grateful that Kade and Edmund stayed up until 3 a.m. to finish it.  Tim has purchased a fridge and stocked it with sodas.  The workers and neighbors love to grab a cold soda every now and then.

McCabe was moved to college (BYU-I) over the weekend.  We got him set up with a lot of groceries and camping gear.  I am very excited for him and his new adventure in life.  He will be rooming with Edmund and Kade.

I heard from Jacinda and she is still acclimating to the mission.  She has been out 90 days and has grown to love the people she is serving.  She has recently discovered the calming effects of calamine lotion.  For some reason, she is getting attacked by bugs.  Hopefully she will try the lavender oil to help repel some of them.

We got our chickens back and no one is more excited than Fozzie.  He likes to sit and watch his ladies take dirt baths.  The chickens pay no attention to him.  They don’t bother him, and he does not bother them.  It is a funny relationship.
