I am so proud of Xadia.  She finally jumped off the diving board at the rec. center and swam to the side all by herself.  Of course I wanted to take pictures but I did not bring my camera swimming so I thought I might as well document it with words.  The first time she tried, she was too scared so she had to walk back down the ladder.  However, before we left for home, she wanted one more try.  That first jump alleviated all fear.  When she got out of the pool she asked, “can I do it again?”  So she went another 3 times.  I am so grateful she has learned to swim.  This is my baby girl I almost lost in a drowning accident nearly 3 years ago.
McCabe’s birthday is coming.  He wants a laptop.  I know that is not happening.  In the meantime I keep asking him what he wants to do for his birthday and he says, “I don’t know.”  He is so happy just playing with friends and his Nintendo 3DS.  I don’t think life can get much better for him.
Jacinda is doing much better with her spelling.  I am so grateful she is getting it.  I am also very impressed with her ability to play the piano.  I like how she will play music that is not assigned to her.  Christmas music really caught her attention and she just started playing a random song from a piano book.  She basically taught herself.  I love it.

Teagan is my treat monster.  He is always climbing chairs to look into the cupboards to find something to eat.  He loves to eat treats and asks for them daily.  I also have to admit he is my best eater when it comes to vegetables.  He always tries the salads at each meal.  I don’t know if it because he really likes salad or if he likes to squirt the dressing on his plate.  Either way at least he eats it.

A new year has started and we are running.  I took a lot of videos of Christmas and New Years to show what we did.  Christmas was spent in Utah, but New Years took place in California.  We had our annual Caga Tio on Christmas Eve.  This is a Spanish tradition that we decided to adopt because each year for Christmas Eve we highlight a country and have food from their culture.  Two years ago we did Spain.  The Caga Tio was such a big hit (no pun intended) we decided to do it again.  This year we did a Jewish/Israeli dinner.  It was super fun.  Below is a video.

We have been covered in snow this year and it is great.  We love to ride the giant sled with the blueberry.  See the video to watch how the Fishers go sledding.

New years was spent in California with friends and family.  I took a lot of pictures and put together a movie for everyone to enjoy.
