Where
did February go? We are now in March and
the madness is only beginning. This week
is Teagan’s and Tim’s birthday. We will
have a family party for Teagan where he can stuff his face full of cake. Tim on the other hand wants to have a BBQ at
Pioneer Park and give hot dogs and cake to the homeless. If the weather permits we will be there. If it rains…which it might, we will switch to
plan B which is making care packages for the homeless and distributing them in
the park. We love doing this and the
kids have some great experiences. We get
to meet some really nice people.
Ok my
big pet peeve right now is the box elder bug.
I don’t know where they are coming from but they think they can use our
bathroom. Tim and I have scoured the
room to find out where they are entering but we haven’t got a clue. We have sealed vents and windows and they
still enter. I think they are the most
indestructible bug on the planet. Good
thing they are not poisonous….just super annoying.
Went
to my Aunt Jeanine London’s viewing. It
was quite lovely. My uncle Terry did a
good job of keeping himself together.
Jeanine looked so peaceful in the coffin. However, I almost started crying when I saw
her hands. I could tell that they had
been clenched before passing. That is an
indicator of pain. My mom did that a lot
as the cancer was consumer her body. She
could not talk but when the hospice nurse saw her clenched hands she knew it
was time to give my mom more morphine.
Bless those souls who battle life threatening diseases for they are
truly some brave people. Below is her
obituary. I have to mention that her
picture looks so much like my mom. I had
to do a double take.
