We had a great Christmas. It was also a time of learning. We had bought some battery operated cars at a garage sale in California back in August. According to the seller, the cars both worked. We were so excited about these cars and got them home without the kids knowing. Well two weeks before Christmas, we found out that the cars do not work. What a waste of $90. Next time, we will make sure they work before purchasing the product. However, the kids seem very happy with their scooters and other presents. I got a new hot glue gun and a hand mixer. Tim got a juicer and some yummy treats to share with his office staff.

I love Christmas because it is about what you give not what you get. We also did some sub for Santa stuff and baked lots of goodies for our neighborhood. The church service was beautiful but only going for one hour seemed too short. My cup was only 1/3 of the way full.

My children are getting so big. McCabe told me that when I am old, he will make me goodies and bring them to my house for Christmas. He is such a sweet boy. Xadia makes me proud because I only have to tell her once to go get in her bed for nap time and she does it. Jacinda is very good at helping me do odd end items like entertain Xadia while I finish folding laundry.

I am 7 months pregnant and it is so hard to do tasks. This morning I cleaned the kitchen and dining area. By noon there was so much pain in my lower back I could not move without hurting. I am so thankful for Tim. He comes home from work and takes care of the kids. At the moment, he took the 3 kids along with 2 neighbor kids swimming. He is so good to me. I feel bad I have to miss out on watching them play but my body is so big, I do not fit into my swimsuit and I move 2 times slower than usual. I can’t wait until March. It will be fun to have this boy in my arms instead of my body.
