We had a houseful of adventure the first week of February when four Taiwanese boys came to stay with us—and wow, did they get the full “Utah sampler platter.” 😄 They experienced church, snow, swimming, shooting guns, and learned how to play the wildly competitive game of Bank It. They were incredibly kind and well-mannered, and absolutely smitten with Fozzie… who, of course, soaked up every ounce of attention like the celebrity he believes himself to be. Meanwhile, February 2nd rolled around and McCabe turned 19! Since he’s been on a big guitar kick (with a growing curiosity about the banjo), he got a banjo for his birthday—and now our house is filled with hymns, pop songs, and a little bit of country twang. I love that Mac is diving into music in all its forms, and I really love when McCabe plays and Tim sings along. Those moments make my momma heart swell every single time. 💕

January 9, 2026
The end of 2025 was fantastic. We took a trip to Virginia to visit the Clinches. While there, we drove 3 hours to see Jacinda. It was a surprise and we got it on video. Jacinda walked into the church and froze when she saw us. When it clicked that her family was standing in the chapel smiling at her, she was overcome with emotion and tears. We ran and hugged each other. It was amazing. We got to be at church with her and then afterwards, in the parking lot, we let Fozzie out of the car. Fozzie went nuts with excitement. He was jumping up and down and trying to lick her face. After church, Jacinda and sister Henry took us to a pond where we could feed fish. Fozzie tried his hardest not to jump in but he was going crazy holding back wanting to play with them.
