Christmas is coming whether we are ready or not.  I say we are ready.  This year it is going to be really simple.  Just one gift and a stocking full of goodies.  It makes shopping really easy and takes away a lot of stress.
Jacinda just celebrated her 8th birthday.  She had such a great time at her party.  We decorated gingerbread houses and made a bunch of crafts.  Then Jacinda performed some magic tricks for her friends while they waited for their parents to come.  I love how easily entertained 7 and 8 year olds can be.  Jacinda is now preparing for her baptism in January.
McCabe is all excited for his birthday.  He is making plans and using Jacinda’s party as a guide.  McCabe is also very excited for Christmas and the whole gift giving thing.  Today he said that he is wrapping me a present with love inside of it.  When I opened it, I found a lovely homemade popsicle house.  He had colored some grass and a door on it.  I loved it.  It is perfect.  He is very caring and very focused on giving love.
Xadia is loving wrapping paper.  She grabs whatever she can find and wraps it.  Yesterday she wrapped two pieces of scrap cloth.  She will hand it to me and say, “merry Christmas,“ or “happy birthday.”  Xadia is such a funny little girl.  She is calling everyone “stinker,” when they do something silly.  She loves to watch My Little Pony and Pinky Pie is her favorite pony.  She loves pink and is a total girl.  Every day she asks to put on make-up and to take a bath with her toys.  When I call her a “princess,” she says in a low voice, “stop it mom.”  I am trying to teach her to say thank you and be kind but it is a work in progress.

Teagan is so big now.  He is 25 pounds and is full of smiles.  He has six teeth and is so cute.  When you call him “bubba” or “big T,” he gives a little laugh.  He is crawling really well and pulling himself up on furniture.  He also has many bruises on his head.  He has some teeth cutting through and so at the moment he only wants to drink formula.  He is not interested in his baby food.  I love how cute he is.  It makes me so happy to see how big he is getting and the new things he is learning.
